Staying Creative During Quarantine

Lately, I’ve found it to be tough to stay creative during quarantine, so this post will be about a few options I’ve been playing with to keep my brain going as well as reaching out to future clients!

1) Find residual income and make money. I watched a MasterClass from Ezra on residual income, and my main take away was how easy it is to make money off what you think you might be “done with.” I found old clips from old football games that I own rights to, that I can sell and license to other creatives! The next step will be to sell them, but I have started the tedious part!

2) Initiate Projects, then pursue them. I found a need within my community, virtual graduations, that I thought I could help out in assisting the production of. I can't speak much about the specific project, but now more than ever, clients have needs they haven't ever thought about, and if you intervene and offer a solution, you'll be surprised by your luck, and possibly have some big dollar solutions!

3) Try something new. For me, I've never gotten into Live Streaming. I spent one-night researching options, and I discovered an option that, for about $900, I could build an entire three-camera live stream solution that I could offer to churches, businesses, and musical artists for them to reach their audiences during this time. Also, after this quarantine is over, the need will not disappear, as the benefits of live streaming will be known to more people, and it will be a continued service.

Creative doesn't mean video production as I've written about, creative means anything that your mind can think of! The best part of quarantine has extra time, so take an idea and run with it! You'll be amazed by the turnout!
