29) Working a Football Season During COVID

My first two years at SMU I was very spoiled to have the incredible access and opportunities with the football team that I did as part of my job. However when Covid hit and the athletics department introduced to new rules in order to isolate the student athletes to be able to play more games, I was deemed nonessential and would not be able to work in person with the team. Still striving to make content, myself and my partner Alex were allowed to be in the Endzone and film football games that were at home. It was difficult not traveling with the team, having to go through security like everyone else, and not being allowed to get close to the athletes like I was a custom too. Regardless, I made the most of it and change my shooting style a bit in order to include longer ones of us to get plays down the field and be able to still make good content. Every once in a while, I would get lucky and players would score a touchdown and run up to the camera for a reaction. That was on them, so I was never breaking any rules.
