30) Continuing relationships with Dude Perfect

My first ever real internship was with a small sports YouTube channel called Dude Perfect. They had just made a video with the St. Louis Rams, and we're looking for someone to help edit. I was paid $300 to edit the video and we worked several days in a row hopping around to different places because there was no office back then. This was in 2013. Fast forward to 2021, Dude Perfect has accumulated over 50 million subscribers and is the largest sports channel on the Internet.

I was excited to receive a phone call asking if I could assist on a music video they were shooting earlier this month. They were going for really high production value and so they were planning to music video exactly as if it were for an award-winning artist. Of course, I was happy to hop in and help continue building this relationship that had been dormant for a few years. The video was supposed to come out on May 3 and so I was hoping that I could wait to write this blog until I had a final video to show but unfortunately that doesn't seem like the case.

The first video I edited for Dude Perfect in 2013.
